Hike & Seek invites you to join them on a small group day tour (max 8 guests) to Phillip Island, located in the beautiful Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. This guided nature tour offers amazing views of the Bass Strait and the chance to make friends with Phillip Island''s local penguins and other Australian wildlife.

Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Cape Woolamai, where you''ll embark on an easy to moderate 6.8km hike through the Nature Park of Phillip Island. Along the way, you''ll witness stunning views of the coastline, rugged rock formations, and wildlife such as wallabies, echidnas, shearwater birds, and whales in the winter months.

After your hike, you''ll enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at a local café or restaurant in Cowes before visiting the Phillip Island Koala Reserve. Here, you''ll stroll through eucalyptus woodland and come face-to-face with koalas in their natural habitat. The Koala Reserve''s unique tree top boardwalks and close viewing areas offer an unparalleled opportunity to see these amazing creatures up close.

Next, you''ll visit The Nobbies for an easy stroll along the boardwalk to discover breathtaking coastline views and the impressive thundering blowhole. This area is home to Australia''s largest seal colony, little penguins, and silver gulls.

To finish the day, you''ll take a waddle on the wild side and see hundreds (sometimes thousands) of penguins emerge from the surf at sunset at the world-famous Penguin Parade. This experience is a wildlife lover''s dream!

Please note: During the summer months, be sure to eat prior to the 11:30 am departure. The tour includes entry into the Penguin Parade and Phillip Island Koala Reserve, as well as healthy snacks, freshly brewed coffee and organic tea, and modern transportation. Lunch or dinner is not included in the tour price.

What to bring: Comfortable trainers or hiking boots, water bottle (1L), cash or credit card for lunch or dinner (around $25), warm layers and waterproof jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. During the summer months, you may also want to bring a swimsuit and a towel for a swim in the ocean.

Pick up and drop off: Winter pick up is at 9:30 am and summer pick up is at 11:30 am at 100 St Kilda Road, Southbank Melbourne. The drop off is at 9:30 pm in winter and 11:30 pm in summer.
